In truth, intelligence

IN THE WORLD OF COSMETICS, there are beliefs, and then there are truths; there is “clean,” and then there is safe.

Let’s talk, and cross the bridge to the side of truth and safety.

BELIEFS vs TRUTHS

Truths are absolute. Like the law of gravity, they are true whether believed or not. By contrast, beliefs are repeated thoughts that construct a vantage point, a window from which we see the world. But that window can offer a drastically limited perspective. Just because we cannot see deer in the forest or waves in the ocean from our window does not mean they do not exist.

Liberation

I used to think if I couldn’t pronounce an ingredient, I wouldn’t buy the product. I used to think in absolutes. And I was a steward of this stance. Perhaps I even spoke these words to you.

But I started deconstructing the window, liberating myself from the past. And after years of research and testing, I now see the truth: there are ancient earth elements that gained an unpopular reputation due to their off-putting names and outdated studies. There are ingredients that are not only safe but beneficial when used correctly.

CLEAN vs SAFE

Get ready…”clean” isn't a regulated U.S. standard. It's a word that anyone can use freely, creating their own definition with no regulatory guidelines in place. Anything is “clean,” everything is “clean.” But you and I both are smart enough to know that NOT everything is safe. Far from it. That’s where VRAI IQ comes in. A safe ingredient DOES have standards; a safe ingredient meets or exceeds European Union Commission and Cosmetic Ingredient Review Agency benchmarks. Clean vs Safe…not just two different games, two different worlds.

All VRAI ingredients meet or exceed European Union Commission standards, the most stringent in the world, and are deemed safe by the Cosmetic Ingredient Review Agency.

IQ DISCUSSION

Polymethylsilsesquioxane

I know. The name doesn’t make it easy to cozy up to this ingredient. We have been conditioned – myself included – to see words like this and assume it is to be avoided. The truth tells a different story. This is the second most common element on earth after oxygen, found in the sands and soils. It is also an essential – and safe – ingredient in the VRAI COSMETICS Mineral Foundation.

IQ DISCUSSION

Titanium Dioxide

Discovered in Cornwall England in 1791, this mineral is naturally the brightest and whitest pigment in the world. When prepared for use in cosmetics, it is coated, micronized, and is a non-nanoparticle, meaning it cannot be absorbed into the human structure. It is an essential – and safe – ingredient in the VRAI COSMETICS Veil Primer.
